BIOGRAPHY

Simone Ferrari first touched a guitar at 14 and continued his studies with music teacher Fabio Casali and then Gabor Lesko. Following their teaching, as well as intensifying his passion for rock, he was introduced to blues and the music of the great jazz masters, culminating in fusion.

He attended various clinics and seminars held by Carl Verheyen, Massimo Varini, Donato Begotti, Pat Martino e Richie Kotzen.

He has played in different musical styles, notably from the original compositions with the Madredira (1999-2001), to the rock and 70’s disco music with Venus (2001-2005), with Funky Train (2006) and with The Zoo (tribute to the Scorpions – 2007).

In 2007 he released his first album “Blue Step” made up of 8 original instrumentals, that move from one musical style to another; the CD was produced in collaboration with Gabor Lesko for the recording, Eugenio Mori for drums, and Gigi Andreone on the bass.
